The First of Many Meetings

Hello Penn State! Aileen and Jason here, your two JanSport Ambassadors for the Fall 2008 semester. Not only are we planning on providing the most innovative and enjoyable events for the students of Penn State for the Fall, but we are also planning on voicing our thoughts and showcasing our experiences on this lovely blog.

Without further introduction...here we go!

Without sparing too much time after finding out who our fellow co-ambassador was , we met for dinner at the Corner Room in State College. Our waiter was a rather interesting fella. After taking our drink and meal orders, we did not see him for a good while. Then, he came around and set a fresh iced tea down in front of Aileen. Rather confused because neither Jason nor Aileen ordered an iced tea, we told the waiter that he made a mistake. He quickly responded by telling us that the iced tea was meant for the table next to ours, and that he wasn't even our waiter.

He was our waiter in fact, and he reappeared five minutes later with our dinner choices, seen below:

The meals were good! No complaints by either of us. But, just as we were conversing following our consumption, we got yet another visit from our confused waiter. This time, he set a delicious vanilla milkshake on the table next to Aileen. Yet again, we were forced to give him a strange glare, and he quickly realized that the milkshake was meant for the other table. He then asked us if we wanted dessert, since we had a good look at it already. Instead, we asked for the check, and a picture, seen below:

With our first coercion behind us, good times only ensue. We'll see you out there!
